[She watches him quizzically, before taking one for herself and popping it into her mouth to chew on while she watches him.]

[ Rohan takes a bite, chewing on it and nodding. He likes it, at least. It's new and interesting and different. He likes interesting and different. ]

I think I like it more than chocolate, to be honest.

[She rolls her eyes at him, fishing out another stick for herself before offering him the box.]

Besides, you don't like pocky fortune-telling, so you probably don't like the games people play with it either, right?

[ What? Who says he can't sass a little. Here he is. But, she's right. He doesn't care much for games people play with pocky. This was a fair medium for him. This was as close as they get. Him bringing it to her. ]

I don't really care for the games or fortune telling, either. But, I do like to try new foods.

[ Hm - he considers. ]

And you like both of those things. Or at least I assume you like the games.

Sure, why wouldn't I? They're fun and they don't really mean anything. Sometimes it's just a fun challenge, trying to be more daring and beat your friends. And sometimes it's just an excuse to kiss somebody.

[She bites off another stick, like she's doing it for emphasis, and points the bitten-off biscuit end at him in indication.]

It wasn't nearly so easy to kiss people on Earth as it is around here, you know.

I know. People are very forward here.

[ Yeah, it's not a secret that he's not the biggest fan of the type of attention he's getting while here. People here are way more affectionate than he would chose to be. Especially with people he doesn't know very well or trust. He makes no attempt to hide it, either. ]

[OOPS. She, too, has the decency to look a little flustered, glancing away and letting her hair curtain over her face.]

No, nobody's done anything like that. And of course you'd be the first person I would tell if they ever did. Of course I would.

[ He considers her being flustered for a moment, and he backs off only a little, deciding to instead address the comment. He's sure she wouldn't lie about something like that, if only because she knows he's serious. He would handle it. ]

Good. I don't mind retraining some guys who got a little too handsy for their own good.
